The Nobel Prize Gold Medal awarded to one of the greatest scientists of out time is to go on display at the National Museum of Scotland tomorrow. Sir james Black, OM has loaned his Nobel Prize Medal and gifted over 100 medals, certificates, examples and citations from his illustrious career to the national collection, as an inspiration to future generations.
Sir James, whose work has saved and improved millions of lives across the globe, is renowned as the discoverer of beta blockers and the first non surgical treatment for stomach ulcers.
